Trump should really watch Sesame Street and PBS Kids. It helped my daughter learn her letters and read. Could help him learn to read. It is never too late to learn how to read…even for a deranged dictator.

MZ's avatar

Him and MTG! I guess she can’t read either since she said she didn’t read the Big Ugly Bill!

ret mcc's avatar

It looks like no one but the Democrats read the bill.

Kathleen Pirquet's avatar

Aw, Mz TG can read. She just doesn't do her job, which is to actually read, understand, and eveluate intelligently, tons of stuff Every. Single. Day. She understands little of what she does read, and just goes low when speaking in ignorance re important issues.

Whatta goldbricking poser!!

ret mcc's avatar

By him, do you mean Trump or Elon?

MZ's avatar

Felon 47. I can’t call him by his name!

SandyZwy's avatar

Point is that Trump wants to destroy education so that he can control what people know and think: Authoritarian Playbook 101.

Abbie's avatar

Sesame Street also teaches empathy and how to be a kind and caring human being. I think it should be mandatory watching for everyone in the Trump administration.

BL Foster's avatar

Might help him form coherent sentences too! 😉

Until Elon comes out and says how much he helped Trump win, I'm not buying the circus act.

Barbara's avatar

Yeah this is so suss. I dont believe the drama at all. Something smells more foul than usual

J’Lynn Davis's avatar

I am surprised that Musk came out and said that about the bill. (Which is true). But yeah, he made his bed, let him lay in it. I don’t feel bad for him at all. Consequences for his own behaviors.

Francie Moran's avatar

I thought the same thing. This could be a distraction for voters. I will stay focused on Trump's BAD policies regardless of Elon's take on the subject. However, there is truth in what Elon is saying. A bit of "too little too late" because Trump is in office due to him.

Michelle's avatar

Its hard to believe anything they say. because of Elon's involvement in the government his company tanked so I'm sure him and Trump set something up, so Elon could bash him to get his company back going in a positive direction, seems it's that simple and that's stupid. Its would be nice if it were really true though 🤣👍🏼

Taya's avatar

Agree it's Def staged

ASBermant's avatar

I agree - keep in mind, Musk is saying Congressional Republicans are NOT CUTTING ENOUGH to offset the enormous tax breaks for the wealthy. So too, Trump's budget wants more cuts to the federal government to pay the the tax breaks. So, in fact, their efforts are aligned.

Kathleen Pirquet's avatar

Kind of like political professional wrestling...FAKE!!

Michelle's avatar

Agree. I think it's all made up to help Elon sell cars again.

Cecilia's avatar

My thoughts exactly!

I need someone to explain to me like I'm 5 why we can't get him out or stop this madness. We are facing emotional damage every day, people are living in fear or dieing, and they are kidnapping people who are never seen again. The government has failed us. What can we actually do? Class action lawsuit? We all have PTSD, restraining order and he has to move? Yes I know that is not possible, but SOMETHING has to be?!

Roger Wiesmeyer's avatar

The only legal way to remove a president is by impeachment.

Democrats control neither chamber of the legislature so it can't happen until early 2027 at the earliest.

I share your feelings of frustration.

Shannon (Imaginif Media) 🏳️‍🌈's avatar

Then the system is broken because this allows a single party to commit crimes against humanity. When it no longer functions what next?

Eric Glover's avatar

It's been like this mainly since Trump got involved in 2015. Prior, you did have a select few that were crooks (or openly crooks). Most politician were respectful and held the highest decoram. John McCain comes to mind for Republicans. Refusing to let his follower call Obama a Muslim. I've never had a favorable opinion of Republicans, but McCain was a real stand up guy!

Take to the streets like in Istanbul

Shannon (Imaginif Media) 🏳️‍🌈's avatar

I know you don't mean anything but as someone who has PTSD, this shitshow is causing more of it. This is classic abuser narcissist energy and we are all victims.

The Big Bullshit Budget Bill. Please refer to it as to what it is!

Sue's avatar

I’ll believe it when trump retaliates against Elon with personal insults re: Elon’s drug use etc

Sue's avatar

I guess it’s official LOL

The chicken taco is never fucking happy. It’s just his anger of the day. There’ll be something different tomorrow!

I can't help but wonder what all those blue collar Trump supporters working in the steel industry are thinking right now.

ASBermant's avatar

The lie they've been told is that the tariffs will secure their jobs. The truth is their jobs are actually less secure because (a) the price of steel will increase (less supply available); (b) demand will decrease because of the higher cost and lower demand; and, (c) American steel companies will lay-off steel workers to offset the higher prices on materials and maintain profit margins. Sadly, steel workers are never taught basic economics.

CP's avatar

Correct. These Republicans don't invest in long term advantages that could make steel manufacturing more sustainable in this country, like investing heavily in making inputs cheaper which would influence cost of production, like say drastically power generation across all renewables + nuclear. Also missing is typical republican things... less regulation, weakening nimbyism. Trump simply raises prices to make importing higher quality european steel, specifically, less attractive. Somehow from this it will buoy the industry when past efforts have little to nothing except make our exports(the largest amount in the world!) less competitive. Europe is able to produce cheap steel because of two factors 1.) heavy government funded renewable power generation for electric arc furnaces 2.) world leading automation

So rather than admit Europe picked policies that somehow out competes the US even with their heavy tax structure and extreme labor protections, we simply make it more expensive for all companies the US to buy steel. Meanwhile the steel companies would never bet on anything Trump does long term. They will immediately raise prices, cut production as demand drop and lay off workers, put 70% of the windfall of profit straight into the pockets of C suite, put another 20% into automating to reduce labor head count, and spend that final 10% on anything politicians can hold up as proof their policies helped workers. Likely whatever they had already planned to do without tariffs.

catz444's avatar

Well explained and do true!! Thank you!

Marilyn Joy's avatar

I absolutely agree, I went over all this with my SO, because he is a steel worker. I told him to be prepared for a mass layoff.

Eric Glover's avatar

I would say possible layoff.

Marilyn Joy's avatar

My SO is a steel worker. They've already been through one layoff and he was safe. I told him that he will get laid off in this next one.

Diane Kempf's avatar

Wait until Trump sees the LACK of attendance at his bullshit parade and the chicken and taco outfits. He will have an aneurysm!!

Lisa's avatar

He will use it to gain favor of the military and LIE per usual, claiming we do not appreciate them.

Andrea McAleese's avatar

What a sh** show, sadly..not surprised.

Gigi Daviso's avatar

I believe it does do with the distraction because the big beauitFOOL bill is on the Senate floor. So Trump’s way of showing can create more chaos. Don’t trust him at all.

Gigi Daviso's avatar

Everyone needs to encourage their neighbors, friends, coworkers, families, and others to call their Senators (2 per state) now. Keep putting more pressure on senators. If ur Senator is R, then show you have not been fooled by the distraction.

Amanda Richardson's avatar

Uh oh, mom and dad are fighting.

Abbey Brown's avatar

I sure hope no one believes the boys fighting isn't all staged to distract us from something else they're trying to do.

DJS's avatar

Like gettting the OBBB passed and later Trump claiming outrage that he didn't know what all was in it and blaming Congress for slipping in stuff he didn't ask for and throwing the Rs in Congress under the bus (knowing they will protect him at all costs).

Alyssa's avatar

They’re just having a lovers quarrel

Skitealwedrop's avatar

I heard they broke up because Elump’s rocket keeps crashing prematurely 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Schmendryck's avatar

Well if they really are fighting, instead of the migrant cage match like Kristi The Gnome has suggested, I say trumpf and Leon need to have it out in a duel with sledge hammers wearing only their tighty whities atop a moving train car on a bridge going over a quarry.

ShelbyRae Lane's avatar

Congratulations South Carolina! Now give Lindsay Graham the boot. Vote him out!

Josh's avatar

Musk already stole all the information that he wants and got his government give aways (contracts) so he doesn’t need Trump anymore.

Trump needs Musk more than Musk needs Trump.
