BREAKING: DONALD TRUMP INDICTED FOR THE FOURTH TIME
A Fulton County Grand Jury has Indicted the Former President on Election Interference Related Charges
A Fulton County grand jury has officially returned an indictment against Donald Trump charging him with multiple felony counts including racketeering, a charge typically reserved for prosecuting large-scale organized crime syndicates. Under Georgia’s RICO statute, if convicted, Donald Trump will face a mandatory minimum prison sentence of five years in prison and up to twenty years in prison. Because the charge includes a mandatory minimum term, if convicted, the judge will have no choice but to sentence Trump to at least five years in prison.

Donald Trump is expected to surrender to authorities within the next week. He will face arraignment before a Georgia judge where he will plead not guilty. However, unlike the federal indictments, it is likely this trial will take longer to occur given the likely co-defendants, along with the general timeline of cases in Georgia.
