Not long after that, my cousin took his own life just hours after we argued online about threats he and his dad posted to repeat the same horror that almost took my mother’s life years ago.
I write about this on here (and on other social media platforms), and I hope you’ll take the time to read them. It’s not spectacle. It’s a warning. If I couldn’t recognize these patterns in my own family after studying them academically, how can we expect others to?

Of course. I promised my mother that I’d warn others about the dangers of MAGA ideology and the extremism that nearly took her life. I actually started speaking out before the Charlie Kirk incident ever happened. Then my family lived through even more violence, and everything I’d studied in textbooks suddenly had names and faces. It had ashes and hospital rooms. It had the people I love.
I studied extremism in theory, but I never understood the devastation until I realized there would be real graves in my own family because of it. That changes you. It removes any hesitation about telling the truth.
I’ll keep speaking out. And thankfully our digital footprints exist. So even in the event of an untimely passing or early demise, the truth is already out there. My story is out there. My mother’s survival is out there. And the warnings are out there for anyone willing to see them.

That’s the part that put me and my mother in danger after Kirk was murdered. That’s the connection I want people to understand.
I dont believe he was a progressive. That’s why I used the word “supposed” shooter, in general. I’m not interested in conspiracy rabbit holes. What I will say is that Kirk’s death did a LOT of favors for the regime. It fueled their narrative, fed their propaganda, and pushed the trifecta that’s been building for years. Far right extremism blended with Christian nationalism backed by oligarchs who are funding all of this.

Not long after that, my cousin took his own life just hours after we argued online about threats he and his dad posted to repeat the same horror that almost took my mother’s life years ago.
I write about this on here (and on other social media platforms), and I hope you’ll take the time to read them. It’s not spectacle. It’s a warning. If I couldn’t recognize these patterns in my own family after studying them academically, how can we expect others to?
When people’s worldviews start to shatter, especially politically, we need to stay mindful of their psychological state. We live in a country with more guns than people, and fragile minds are going to snap once MAGA starts to fall apart. ❤️🩹

Of course. I promised my mother that I’d warn others about the dangers of MAGA ideology and the extremism that nearly took her life. I actually started speaking out before the Charlie Kirk incident ever happened. Then my family lived through even more violence, and everything I’d studied in textbooks suddenly had names and faces. It had ashes and hospital rooms. It had the people I love.
I studied extremism in theory, but I never understood the devastation until I realized there would be real graves in my own family because of it. That changes you. It removes any hesitation about telling the truth.
I’ll keep speaking out. And thankfully our digital footprints exist. So even in the event of an untimely passing or early demise, the truth is already out there. My story is out there. My mother’s survival is out there. And the warnings are out there for anyone willing to see them.
That’s a promise I will always fight to keep.

I like and completely understand and empathize with your comment just please refrain from calling the shooter on charlie kirk "a progressive", that's what tRumputinists are preying upon. I sorely doubt that the shooter was/is a progressive, we progressives don't kill unless in genuine, true self-defense!

I hear you, and I appreciate the way you said this. To be clear, I’m not the one who called the shooter progressive. The far right media machine did, and my family believed it. That’s the part that put me and my mother in danger after Kirk was murdered. That’s the connection I want people to understand.
I dont believe he was a progressive. That’s why I used the word “supposed” shooter, in general. I’m not interested in conspiracy rabbit holes. What I will say is that Kirk’s death did a LOT of favors for the regime. It fueled their narrative, fed their propaganda, and pushed the trifecta that’s been building for years. Far right extremism blended with Christian nationalism backed by oligarchs who are funding all of this.
It’s one of the many villains they create. Extremist movements always build enemy lists to keep people scared and obedient, which is why they rotate through the lunatic left, LGBTQ people, immigrants, Muslims, scientists, and doctors. The targets shift but the pattern never does. They attack educated individuals and marginalized groups because people with critical thinking and media literacy can see right through the propaganda, and that makes us dangerous to any regime built on fear and deception.
So when far right outlets label someone like that “progressive,” they arent describing reality. They’re creating a villain. And when your own family is deep in that world, that narrative becomes dangerous. That’s why I speak out. That’s why I share my story. Radicalization isnt abstract to me. It burned down my mother’s home and almost took her life. It turned my own relatives into threats.
I’m not here to argue labels. I’m here to show what propaganda does when it reaches the dinner table.
