Trump's bond set, Maui recovery efforts continue, and Ukraine hits Moscow again

1) Donald Trump To Surrender This Week
Donald Trump will officially surrender at the Rice City jail in Fulton County, Georgia this Thursday as he faces multiple charges concerning election interference in Georgia in 2020. Meanwhile, today, Trump’s attorneys have entered into a consent bond with Georgia prosecutors. According to the terms of this bond, Trump is required to post a $200,000 bond, or 10% of that amount. Significantly, the consent bond prevents Trump from engaging in any witness intimidation on social media and includes all posts and reposts. 2) Ukraine Update
Moscow suffered yet another drone attack this evening, halting all operations at the Moscow airport for a period of time. According to Moscow’s mayor, the Russian military downed two drones in the Moscow oblast. Meanwhile, earlier today, the United States urged all citizens to immediately leave Belarus as tensions between the two countries continue to rise. This warning comes days after Lithuania closed two border posts it shared with Belarus amid rising tensions and the possibility of a Wagner incursion into the country.
Meanwhile, Domino’s Pizza, the popular fast food pizza chain, has officially pulled out of Russia more than one year after the war began. According to reports, Domino’s plans on filing for bankruptcy in Russia in the coming weeks .
3) Biden Visits Maui
Today, President Biden visited Maui as recovery efforts on the island continue. According to reports, more than 850 people are still missing, while at least 114 individuals have been confirmed dead. Unfortunately, according to Maui’s mayor, that number is likely to rise as the search and rescue missions continue. President Biden toured the island briefly earlier today and issued a short statement: I know how profoundly loss can impact a family and a community and I know nothing can replace the loss of life,” Biden said in a statement Sunday. “I will do everything in my power to help Maui recover and rebuild from this tragedy.
