As an independent journalist, this is going to be one of my busiest weeks.
I hope you will tune in with me.
This week is a big week. The United States Senate will begin holding confirmation hearings for several of Donald Trump’s nominees. While many of these hearings will be relatively mundane and boring, expect sparks to fly at others. Here’s a good image that outlines when each of the nomination hearings are scheduled:
If you think there is a glaring omission from that list, it’s because there is. Tulsi Gabbard, Donald Trump’s nominee to be the next Director of National Intelligence has seen her confirmation hearing kicked and delayed. Will she get enough support to even make it to the hearings? Stay tuned.
In any event, as an independent journalist, I will be watching all of these hearings so that you don’t have to. This is a big news week. Whether watching the confirmation hearings, or waiting on TikTok’s future, or watching what, if anything, President Biden does in his final week in office, I will be staying busy, and you will be the first to know any information, when I know. In any event, I wanted to take a minute to do a quick rundown of all the news you may have missed from the past 24-hours, outside of the TikTok ban. If you enjoy these short news snippets, let me know, more will come soon.
