With that, here is all the news you missed:

  • The fears of a recession are growing fast in the United States as the stock market had its worst day of 2025. The Nasdaq 100 dropped 3.8%, marking its worst single-day decline since 2022, while the S&P 500 fell 2.7%. The DOW Jones fell more than 890 points as well. In response, Donald Trump is expected to meet with business leaders in an effort to quell recession fears.

  • Elon Musk had his worst day of 2025. Tesla’s stock is taking a severe hit, plummeting over 12% in a single trading session.

  • Musk’s social media platform, Twitter (X), was rocked by a massive cyberattack today. Elon Musk has now blamed the cyber attack on a Ukrainian IP address (yes, I am serious).

  • Tesla is facing intensifying boycotts across multiple countries. Protests have erupted at Tesla stores in Europe, North America, and parts of Asia, leading to temporary closures and disrupted operations.

  • Tesla’s financial troubles are being compounded by plummeting sales across major international markets. In Germany, Tesla sales nosedived a staggering 76.3% in February compared to the previous year, signaling a dramatic decline in demand. The situation in Australia is similarly bleak, with Tesla deliveries dropping 65.5% in the first two months of 2025. Meanwhile, in China—one of Tesla’s most crucial markets—sales fell by 49.16% in February, reflecting a significant market share decline.

  • A judge has halted the removal of Columbia pro-Palestinian protest organizer Mahmoud Khalil from the U.S. while further action on his habeas petition is considered.

  • According to the New York Times, Rubio stated that Ukraine would need to give up territory as part of any peace agreement.

  • According to Bloomberg, Trump envoy Steve Witkoff will be visiting Moscow for a meeting with Vladimir Putin.

  • The Supreme Court has agreed to review the legality of bans on LGBTQ "conversion therapy."

  • A YouGov MRP poll suggests that the Australian Labor Party is set to lose the election, with the Liberal/National Coalition projected to win 73 seats compared to Labor’s 66.

  • The Trump administration has repurposed the CBP One app, originally launched under Biden, into a self-deportation tool allowing undocumented immigrants to voluntarily report their intent to leave the U.S.

See you in the morning.
